Yes we are. Come in and have frozen drink on me.
And
Beer wine and spirits
Sorry, I don't have a phone number for them.
Great service, great location, simple menu with good ball-park fare.
I stumbled upon this eatery by accident, being going to the park in this area for years and never noticed it. The staff was friendly and the environment was lovely as a previous person said no bathroom on the facility so you have to walk back to the play area to use bathroom Visited June 6/26/17
Hate to give one star but unfortunately after reviewing the notes . . . I'm still in shock that I was charged $13 for a so-called 'frozen margarita' which was served up in a wee 4oz plastic cup with a couple of streaks of red (strawberry?), maybe some mix, and crushed ice. I detected no alcohol, but the worst part was that I had stopped there after walking all day in sweltering NYC heat and (although I'm no fan usually of the frozen drinks) I really felt bamboozled after being lured in by the sign offering up the cocktail like a thoughtful item to help customers beat the heat! I struggled to eat all the crushed ice when I could find no spoons, and waited nearly 10 minutes after I'd finished to request my bill. I post this mostly because guests should never be made to feel as though their pockets have been picked!
Staff were disinterested and had serious attitude. Move on to Tavern on the Green instead.
Turkey burger with all the fixings washed down with a Brooklyn larger while watching a co-ed softball game. How good is that?
Perfect spot! Great food, at great prices! Plus our server, Maria Torres is amazing!!! It's as if she can read our minds! Plus she's professional, courteous & always joyful!!!
Amazing place, tasty food😋😋😋🍔🍔
Fantastic service! Good food, great location.
Very pleasant place to have lunch. Not an extensive menu, though.
Really nice and knowledgeable service. Great brats. Beautiful setting.
Love this place, beer in the park, what more could you want?
The staff inside the stand was friendly! I really liked the cashier, our table side server and busser were rude though, unbelievably so. It is also the worst food we've ever had. The quiche Lorainne was not lorainne, it was plain unevenly microwaved, and sopping wet. I've never had a quiche quite that bad, I didn't even eat it. My husband had their burger which was basically a flavorless well done disk. As a whole, we are so unimpressed I am encouraging people coming in for lunch now to run the other way.
This coffee shop will make you feel right at home! Excellent customer service, great coffee, and good food.
Great place to take a bite when visiting Central Park. Nice view on Manhattan and the Ballpark of course.
If only the staff would pretend to be nice and do there job, then you could enjoy the nice view of central park ball field.
Great location - but very rude and unfrinedly staff! The Tuna sandwich was the worst in NYC. Avoid!Actually only place in NYC where we didn't felt welcome or appreciated as customers.
Just happened upon this place while exploring Central Park, and while its not some fancy, pricey restaurant, it’s still good. We started with some pulled pork sliders, and these 3 sliders could’ve easily made 2 whole sandwiches. They didn’t skimp on the pulled pork and it was great, a good value. The chicken sandwich with jalapeño jack was average, but still good. The waiter was accompanying and polite, and the scenery only adds to the overall ambiance of this place.
A gem right in the middle of Central Park. Great spot for lunch and an afternoon drink during the summer. Bring your dog and they'll give you a fresh bowl of water. And if you don't want to pay for a ticket to the Mets or Yankees, Ballfields offers a great view of free adult softball.
Overpriced and terrible food. Hot dog was barely reheated. Server did not wear gloves while preparing my crepe.
Great food and waiter service in the middle of central park
Very beautiful place to be in. It's in the park. The staff are professional, helpful and kind. The food is fresh. The tea and coffee are mmm.
Small cafe/bistro at the edge of Central Park. We were there on a sunny day so we were sitting outside so I don't even know if they have inside seating, but they do not have restrooms. ;) the tuna sandwich was nice, comes with chips on the side and there's plenty of the tuna salad in it.
Good coffee and nice atmosphere. Ideal to relax.
Its location is very nice, the food was simple but ok and the waiter was friendly. However, there is no bathroom for customers so, if you need one, you will have to walk 5 minutes to the nearest playground (if you are a woman you'll probably miss 5/10 minutes more in the line). Additionally, be aware that, if you order a soda, more than half of the glass will be filled with ice cubes
One of my favourites in this part of the city. I love the relaxed vibe. They serve pitchers of great beer and tasty hotdogs for a fair price.
Sweet people. Beautiful spot. Great kids' menu. Lovely.
Wow..I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My sister and I visited Central Park NY in the height of summer last year for the first time. It was a VERY hot day and we were starving and thirsty. We had no cash (a mistake when entering Central Park lol) only card for payment, and I am a vegetarian so our options for having lunch in Central Park were limited. We saw Ballfields cafe and thought we'd have a look. This place was an oasis!!! They had shaded seating under the umbrellas, delicious veggie burgers (and beef burgers), and self serve ice cold water. Staff were pretty nice too! Was just as good when we visited for a second time a few days later! Highly recommended!
Amazing service and great place to have a beer!!
Laidback, good value for money place. Great to have a beer after walking around Central Park
Nice spot to stop and get coffee or a cocktail. Gorgeous view.
Nice location and good service but overpriced and cheap tables and chairs
We stopped for cappuccino and we felt like the waitter was bothered by such a small order (2x $5.25). They only gave us to-go cups not even mugs. Cofee wasn't very goid either. No cinnamon.
Beautiful place if you need a drink coffe tea it's great place to stop and enjoy by the park.
service was awful and food wasn’t even that good lol. fries were good but BLT only had one piece of bacon. way more expensive then it should have been will not be going back
Situated in Central Park is a nice outdoor place for a drink or lunch. Not an extensive menu, but enough choices to please almost everyone.
Nice
Better when Mike O"Neal owned it.
One of the best kept secrets in the park. Come here for hamburgers, hot dogs, and beer. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.
This is a fun spot to people watch in the park. They have several great beer selections. I recommend checking it out for a drink and/or snack.
Service is not that impressive.
You just gotta love the tranquility at this gorgeous little gem. And of course, their fabulous & delicious blueberry muffins - Texas size! Never tasted a better muffin. I will return here, on my next visit in NYC.
Food was over priced and mediocre. Server kept touching her nose and face. As a former food service industry worker and someone with common sense, you shouldn't touch your face when handling food.
Bought coffee and they didn't bother to tell me or my son that we couldn't use their seats (they had no signs about this and non of the staff told is until after we made our purchase) and were very RUDE nor friendly! They told us to leave since they have lots of empty tables
Amazing! Kind and attentive service from animal loving young men (the day I visited) and I also got chased down the street by one when I accidentally forgot my credit card. Truly a calm little oasis in a bustling metropolitan jungle. As a visitor from the UK I will DEFINITELY recommend the place to my friends and be back if I visit NYC again.
Updated post as of Oct 1st 2018; it appears they have been seized by the Marshals for not paying their taxes ... I ve included a photo of the seizure sign at the gate
What a good place!
This place instantly reminds me the "Secret Life of Pets" movie. With all the local dogs around which are very welcomed in here it gives this place very cool NYC vibe. The food is ok but it's really about the vibe you get here. So nice.
Really poor service. Can't recommend to anyone unfortunately.
Good food nice prices
We spent 7.50 for an Iced coffee and plain coffeee a modest but fair amou t. Then they considered us to-go and told us to leave. NOBODT WAS THERE!!!! WHAT KIND OF CAFE WON'T LET YOU DRINK COFFEE AT THEIR SEATS!! Look at all these empty seats!
